Murder most foul: Tob Cohen's badly disfigured body found hidden in an underground water tank in his home after he was reported missing July 2019 Tob Cohen's body has been recovered today; 13th Sept 2019 from an underground water tank at his home in Kitisuru, Nairobi. Kenya. The body was found bound with ropes on the hands, legs, and neck in addition to being badly disfigured. Initial reports from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations(DCI) in Kenya has indicated that he was likely murdered in his home. American comedian and actor Kevin Hart suffered "major back injuries" on Sunday following a car accident in Los Angeles. Comedian and actor Kevin Hart was involved in an accident on Sunday in Los Angeles. Hart was being driven in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda on Mulholland Highway when the accident occurred.  Jared Black, the driver is said to have lost control of the car which then rolled into an embankment according to the California Highway Patrol. Both Hart and his driver; Jared Black suffered major back injuries while a third passenger was unhurt. Hart was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Centre and the driver was taken to another hospital, the patrol report said. Hart is known for his stand-up comedy and comic roles in movies such as Ride Along and The Secret Life of Pets.

Six people died in a road accident in Naivasha on Saturday 31st August 2019 when a Nissan Matatu and a truck collided

Image courtesy of The Standard Six people died in a road accident involving a Nissan matatu and a truck while nine others were seriously injured during the Saturday night accident. The accident at Nyakairu center 15kms from Naivasha town occurred after the truck hit an oncoming matatu head-on killing five people on the spot. One person died while undergoing treatment at Naivasha Sub-county Hospital. The driver of the lorry that was heading to Naivasha was among those who died on the spot while passengers in the 2NK matatu that was heading to Nairobi were injured. According to the Chairman Naivasha Road Safety Association James Kabono, the lorry driver was to blame for the accident. Stanley Karanja, MCA for Naivasha East Ward said that it was time that speed bumps were erected in the black spot to reduce the road carnage.

Prison Beauty queen Ruth Kamande who stabbed Farid Mohammed (her boyfriend) 25 times sentenced to the death penalty

Who is Ruth Kamande? A resident of Buru buru suburbs in Nairobi who came into limelight after stabbing Farid Mohammed( her lover) 25 times in 2015 following discovery that Mohammed had been having several lovers concurrently. She remained in custody and gained popularity in 2016 after winning Miss Lang'ata women prison's beauty contest. She was sentenced to the death penalty at the Milimani High Court by High Court judge Jessie Lesiit on Thursday 19th July 2018.   "I want young people to know that it is not cool to kill your boyfriend or girlfriend instead it is cool to walk away from a relationship when it breaks down," said Judge Lesiit.  The judge ruled that Kamande harboured ill-motives while stabbing her boyfriend 25 times with a kitchen knife. In her defence, Kamande stated that Farid had raped her, knowing well that he was HIV-positive and that she had acted in self defence when Farid attempted to kill her.
