Tob Cohen is a dutch billionaire married to a Kenyan wife; Sarah Wairimu who is a prime suspect in the murder. Tob Cohen has been missing since 19th July 2019 as reported by his sister. However, his wife made a report at Kilimani police station on 22nd July 2019.
The cover to the underground water tank in which his body was found had been recently cemented to cover up the crime.
The wife was arrested once the billionaire was reported missing and taken to court on charges of murder. The court ordered that a mental examination be undertaken on Sarah as the DCI team was expected to sustain the murder case. The case is to be heard on 16th Sept 2019. The DCI boss, George Kinoti has said that they already have two suspects (including his wife Sarah) and are hoping to arrest more suspects since the act must have been carried out by a larger criminal gang.
According to Tob Cohen's friend his relation with his wife was quite sour with a divorce filing in progress. The two are said to have had disagreements regarding Tob's decision to sell off their properties. His wife is opposed to the sale of properties and it is even reported that she failed to invite him for the wedding of their adopted daughter which had been held recently at their home.
